| Vajra and Bell Set |
Used as ritual implements
in Tantric meditation and also as embellishments to the family altar,
the vajra and bell are symbolic of the balance of male and female
energies necessary to enlightened living. Keeping a set in one's
home is thought to effect this balance within one's environment.
The bell, made of a blend of more than a dozen metals, produces
an exquisite sound and is used in most forms of tantric music. The
bell handle, and the vajra, are made of bronze. The set comes in
two qualities: The high quality has a more finely detailed vajra
and handle. |
